Our Story

Qoqnus was founded by a group of young Afghans who share one conviction: that learning and the chance to grow shouldn’t be a privilege — they should be constant and open to every child. What started as a small volunteer effort has grown into an initiative reaching children across Kabul and online. The costs associated with running activities and organizing workshops rely on either Qoqnus volunteers or external donation.

Our Mission

To give children — from pre-elementary through 6th grade — access to consistent, high-quality educational and cultural enrichment, regardless of their circumstances, whether they live in Kabul or want to join us from anywhere online.

How We Work

Every person behind Qoqnus is a volunteer. We organize tutoring sessions, visit elementary schools directly, and run group activities, games, and contests — built around the idea that learning should be joyful, not just obligatory.
